TVR Driving Experience Day
The TVR Experience day is a unique opportunity to drive 3 different TVR sports cars during the course of a day, driving in and around Exmoor National Park.
The mix of TVRs gives you a back to back experience of the cars different characteristics and is simply the best way of discovering the relative merits of each of these brilliant cars for yourself.
You will share this TVR Driving Experience with other like minded enthusiasts with whom you can compare notes (if you wish) at the pre-arranged handover points and at the end of the day.
The day comprises 3 stages, one driving each car, punctuated with stops for lunch and afternoon tea respectively. Each of the drives is around 1 hour in length at normal (legal) driving speeds, although in practice you will have about an hour and a half for each leg. This means you are free to take in your own small diversions along the way. There is no pressure to go any faster than you are comfortable with (and we do not encourage law breaking in any case).
If you get to a stop point early, you are welcome to keep on driving as long as you meet back at the appointed time and place to swap cars. A map is provided so you should not be able to get lost.
In all, the day will provide you with the opportunity to spend between 3 and 4 hours in the cars in total (obviously this depends upon your speed) covering over 100 miles.
The route heads up onto Exmoor via the coastal road at Minehead and shows just what a varied environment this part of the world has to offer. There are terrific sea views, meandering wooded combes, open moorland and sweeping cross country routes, as well as idyllic little villages and towns along the way.
We recommend you share the TVR Driving Experience by bringing along another driver to swap seats with you on each leg or even a willing passenger who doesn't mind sitting next to you all day why you are enjoying yourself!

The Sports Cars
TVR Tuscan Our superb targa-topped MK1 Tuscan has both the looks and the performance to match any car on the road. The targa top is easily removed when the sun comes out and the car is wonderfully driveable on the open roads and in the towns and villages.
TVR Griffith The gorgeous Griffith is a great touring car. It has a real presence on the road and it's torquey engine means progress can be as relaxing as you want it. A different feel from the Tuscan but one that still leaves you with a big grin on your face.
TVR Tasmin Our Tasmin is at home cruising along the lanes up on Exmoor. This throaty sounding convertible is a great intro to TVR motoring and has the classic styling of it's own eighties period. Proper open top touring.

Stage 1
Taunton to Porlock Weir on the northern Exmoor coast, where you can enjoy a lunch break.
Stage 2
Porlock Weir via Lynmouth to Ralegh's Cross Inn on Exmoor with the option of afternoon tea.
Stage 3
Ralegh's Cross Inn via Bampton to Taunton. Returning back to base; the end of the TVR Driving Experience.
